Karaoke Disc Players
Karaoke players have come a long way since I bought my first one which was a Denon Laser Disc Player that played the 12 inch video karaoke discs (the only ones available at that time) as well as the 8 inch video discs and CD+Gs. It was a quality machine although it was very slow at queuing songs and was prone to skipping at the slightest vibrations. The only competing brand was the Pioneer Laser Disc Player. Now it seems as though nearly every electronics manufacturer produces some sort of karaoke machine. Pioneer continues to produce quality, although somewhat pricey, karaoke players. VocoPro has gone all out with their extensive line of karaoke machines for both professional and home use.

Initial's IDM-1210 is a full-featured DVD and CD+G player that also plays MP3s and Kodak Picture CDs. Use the multiplex feature to turn vocals, on and off. The component output enables progressive scan for a true cinematic experience.
