Amplifiers for your karaoke system are the same as you would use on a DJ sound system except that there is no need for a complex mixing board that some DJs prefer. Karaoke sounds best when the music is played in mono mode so there is no real need for a stereo amplifier. An adequate amp will have at least 6 channels with separate controls, a graphic equalizer, reverb control, and enough power to drive your speakers.
