Active Speakers
Active speakers have a built in amplifier which typically makes them heavier than passive speakers. They require light duty speaker cables and must be connected to a power source.
Acesonic PS-420 400W Pro 10" Powered Stereo Speaker System. For improved sound, this system utilizes XLR microphone connections and there are two of them so you can sing a duet or have to people speaking at the same time. Set-up is easy! Just connect microphones, connect the two speakers together and plug the main speaker into power you're set. Perfect when a quick setup and powerful sound is required since you are able to connect microphones and an audio source directly to the speakers.

Put simply, you get all the power without the back-breaking weight. And the sound quality of these lightweight loudspeakers exceeds that of our extremely popular EUROLIVE B212A and B215A systems - plus we've included two 200-Watt models, the B210D (10") and B208D (8") for less demanding applications.
JBL PRX710 10" Two-Way Multipurpose Self-Powered Sound Reinforcement System. The PRX710 is the most compact and versatile speaker in the PRX700 Series. Designed to deliver maximum performance for its weight and size as a front of house main PA. Two user selectable EQ settings are provided to optimize the system for either application. JBL EON 315 Portable 280W Self-Powered 15" Loudspeaker. A complete self-contained sound reinforcement system, capable of full-bandwidth reproduction at high levels with the added benefit of a microphone pre-amp enabling the direct connection of a dynamic microphone. The EON315 is comprised of a 15" (380 mm) JBL woofer, a 1" (25.4 mm) neodymium high frequency compression driver coupled to a 100° H by 60° V waveguide. Both components are driven by the discrete channels of a 280 watt Class-D integrated power amplifier. The input section contains all cross-over functions, protection, and system EQ functionality.

Yamaha MSR400 Powered Speaker. The MSR400 provides heavyweight performance in a lightweight, easy to carry package. With a maximum of 400-watts of biamplified power, a 12-inch woofer and a 2" compression driver on a smooth, wide dispersion horn, acoustic performance is remarkable. The flexible EQ controls for tailoring frequency response to suit your needs. Both a 1/4" and a balanced XLR connector are available for input, which can accept mic or line levels.
